The Boom (2015)
In an effort to save money, many comedy clubs across the country own a “comedy condo,” a small residence in one of the less prosperous parts of town. Each week, a new group of traveling stand-up comics move into this condo where they will live together, drink together and silently hate each other as they prepare for the evening’s shows.
The Boom takes place in three acts set entirely in the condo owned by Steel City Funny Factory in Pittsburgh.
Ray Messina is a young comic that may have just received his break in the form of a violent viral video encounter with a heckler. He is in town to open for Buddy Darby, a reformed addict turned religious freak relic of the late 80s comedy boom.
Each knows their role for the weekend, but the club owner has a different idea, when he chooses to switch their spots as opener and headliner.
The Boom was first performed at New York City’s Theater for the New City as part of The Dream Up Festival.
Radio Gods (2016)
MAX and RYAN aka THE RHINO were once on their way to almost stardom as stars of THE RADIO GODS, South Jersey’s number one morning drive show for white males age 18-45. Unfortunately a dwindling job market and an ill advised radio “prank” involving a false terrorist scare in The Freedom Tower has left them jobless and penniless.
However, after a six month hiatus, one of their most prominent sponsors, “BIG” TOM EGAN, owner of South Jersey Honda, has brought them out of retirement. Now podcasting from the back of the car dealership, they are reunited with their ever loyal producer SKIPPY in an attempt to regain their former glory.
Radio Gods is a produced television pilot starring Paul Provenza and Rick Overton that was featured at the New York Comedy Festival.

Tom and Delia are teenage siblings on a quiet afternoon in the suburbs. A woman appears in front of their house ringing a cowbell and carrying a sign reading, “A Human Trafficker Lives Here.” The two debate whether or not this bizarre stranger could possibly be talking about their father, a beloved high school math teacher.
Part Two: The Mackenzie Four
Sammy and Wendy are the producers of The Mackenzie Four, a popular YouTube series documenting their lives as parents of two young girls. At the height of its popularity Wendy attempts to end the series amid the growing pressure Sammy is putting on the family. Tensions rise with an explosive conclusion as Sammy refuses to end things quietly.
Part Three: The Donor
Cliff never intended to be a father or a kidnapper but he has found himself to be both as he violates his custody agreement in order to spend two unsupervised days with his son.
Part Four: A Reading
Dana is home from college and has brought laundry and a one act play with her. Fearing that her family may not be okay with some of the personal elements of her work, she stages a reading with her parents and brother to get their approval.
Diving Horses was first produced by Theater 68 at The NuBox Theater in New York City.
Li’l (2022)
Gage is a college student who helps manage his family’s business of little people performers with him and his father Bill taking stage as the stars of the troupe. Bookings are down due to the changes in our culture and he’s ready to move on but he can’t leave and allow his father to feel obsolete and unappreciated after years of sacrifice. His brother Darryl, average sized and a filmmaker, has returned to town with a desire to make a documentary about the family that he promises won’t be exploitative. Gage isn’t sure he can trust his brother, but coming along with Darryl is his production assistant, Vera, whose presence makes Gage consider the possibility of a world outside his family.
Li’l was first produced as a staged reading at the Black Box Performing Arts Center in Englewood, NJ.
